This H&R BLOCK always great! We started coming here in 2014 after our then tax prep determined we owed what seemed a very large amount. As a second opinion, of sorts, we saw Joan (retired now- she was so awesome) who looked it over and while we still owed, it was a more reasonable amount. I had an extremely poor experience with this sister location. I’ve never felt the need to leave a negative review before, but I think it’s important to share so others are aware. I was clearly misled on pricing. I was initially quoted $99 for services, and after moving forward, I was charged over $500. I was told a price adjustment would be made, but that was later denied with no reasonable explanation. I had a frustrating experience trying to schedule an appointment. I attempted to call multiple times to book over the phone, but no one answered. As a result, I booked an appointment online and arrived at the scheduled time. When I got there, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled because the business was closed, despite the fact that the time slot had been available and confirmed online.
