Talk about over charging for a simple service. I have never paid so much for a tax return in my life! And my taxes are as simple as it could get. Bottom line $400 for a simple tax return for filing jointly only W2s is DISGRACEFUL.
H&R Block has been a life-saver for me. Their service is fast, accurate and professional. I'm glad I chose them to be my tax consultants.
Buyer Beware!!! HR Block has been overcharging me for years. I did not realize this until I rec'd a $560 charge for a ver simple return that had a total of six documents. I would implore you to say away from the Valley Stream HR Block office at all costs. They have been taking advantage of black people of Caribbean decent by hiking up the prices by 200%. The same return that cost me $560 would have cost me $175 with another accountant. When I discovered this practice I complained and they lowered the price to $325 but that w... read more
