I haven't used in person H&R Block Services since 2019, and it is good to know that the atmosphere and professionalism is still top tier! My tax expert was Mr. Marc Jacobson, and he was personable, informative, and very thorough throughout the appointment. My taxes are typically pretty straight forward, so not many agents take the time to explain items line by line, but Mr. Jacobson did, and as a result, I learned new information in the process. I had a very disappointing experience at H&R Block with Marc Jacobson. Within 30 seconds of my appointment starting, he was raising his voice and speaking to me in a disrespectful manner. I was not informed by the representative on the phone that my work history would not be available since I had filed my own returns, so I came in expecting assistance. Very unprofessional. They never answer their phones or their messages in the app. They are always late. I had an appointment that the tax person just didn’t show up to and when Lakeisha finally got back to me, offered no apology.
