Had them do my taxes last year. After almost three Weeks my refund was not showing up on the IRS website. I called and they had not even submitted it yet. The pee OB’s that do the taxes send them to get approved by the manager and it got delayed because the manager never looked at it and submitted it. Never use HR block if you need your refund soon.
We were amending through the online service and it came up with two things that needed a tax pro to review along with filing an extra form for our partial year subsidized health insurance for before we were married. We paid for the pro service and got responses from them that were generic tax facts that a chat bot could generate that had nothing to do with our taxes. I have been going to see Camille at H&R Block for three years now. In those three years I have gone from having several jobs at once, to starting my own semi-retirement LLC. I get great service and value from H&R Block. I also get practical information on how to save and streamline. If you worry about taxes like I used to, you may want to make an appointment. I am so glad I did.
Scott at H&R Block was trusted to file for an extension on a deceased family member's taxes. He failed to do that, which resulted in a fine of $510.98. Communication with him was awful. Not a good experience!
