I paid $450 for two tax returns! Had my taxes filed for 2022 & 2023. I was in the Navy for both of those years so I only had 2 W-2s total. I didn’t owe for either year, I was supposed to receive a return for both years. I fell behind on my mortgage in 2023, and was unsure if I needed to include my tax documents for the house I had bought and fell behind on. I left 15 minutes after my appointment time and still hadn't seen anyone or even been told how long the wait would be. I think it's discourteous to just assume your client can wait as long as you need him to. This is business...we had an appointment. The lady at the front was nice.

I thought I had covered all bases in advance of our relocation to Florida, including an accountant to handle our complicated, multi-state, multi-member partnership tax returns - until a fatal error threatened to completely destroy our otherwise sterling record with the IRS.
