This review is for the Woodfin location. I made an appointment online, but when I showed up, it was moved to an hour later and with a different person. I never received a text that it had been changed and wish I’d been informed. I also showed the receptionist the screenshot of my appointment day/time because it didn’t seem like they believed me. So here’s my suggestion: call them the day of to make sure you’re still on the books for time chosen. I won’t be going here though so good luck.
The price was double what I would have considered a high price and triple what I would consider a fair price. When everything was done,took 1 1/2 hours the bill was $345 dollars and I got them to approve a first timer $25 dollars off. I would feel like a fool to come back next year.
Having moved to NC a couple of years ago, I had been using a tax prep company long distance. It was inconvenient. I decided to give our local H&R Block office a try this year. Megan at the Asheville office was great. The change over was seamless, she was friendly and super efficient, and had the taxes completed in a couple of days. The fee was reasonable also. I will continue to use H & R Block going forward.
No waiting, was qreat.Megan was very professional, and friendly . Explained all she was doing, and she was quick and efficient. I'll be back again.
