Was entertaining having my taxes prepared here. After witnessing the abysmal treatment of my partner and their concerns I can easily tell this establishment lacks professionalism and accountability. Rather than acknowledging or addressing their issues they would rather coerce their employees to review themselves and leave 5 stars. I’ll take my chances with TurboTax.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My accountant did not show up to my appointment or leave any notes for staff or notify that they wouldn’t be there. I had to reschedule with a different accountant later in the day. When I returned my accountant decided to show up and didn’t have my return completed or understand how to work the technology for me to sign my taxes. Ron, the manager, dodged my calls for 2 weeks. I needed to know why I was being charged almost $700 to file as it was less than half of that the year prior. I was so frustrated that I just paid the fee as I need to get my taxes filed. I completed the follow up survey and lo and behold, I get a call from Ron not 2 hours later. She placed blame on me for approving the return before I had received an explanation of fees, yet I had been waiting 2 weeks to hear from her for this very question. Walta messed up my taxes this year resulting in me not getting my return until 9/11. And then h and r block didn’t uphold their block guarantee. Charged me for filing fees, when Lisa said I wouldn’t be charged at all. Very disappointed, especially as a long time customer.
