I had a fantastic experience at H&R Block with Jack Dillon. His patience and depth of knowledge in taxes truly stood out. Despite my numerous questions, he remained calm and explained everything thoroughly. However, the out-of-pocket cost was higher than anticipated. While the company advertises $80-90 per return, my total exceeded $500. Overall, Jack's expertise made the process worthwhile, but transparency regarding pricing would improve the experience.
Dread doing taxes every year, and every year Sandy does a great job of easing my nerves and getting the taxes done.
The level of incompetence and misogyny I received from Sandy and the rest of the H&R Block employees is astounding. For 2 years in a row our tax filings were incorrect. They entered the wrong names amongst many other errors, including the wrong refund amounts. It was so poorly done that I had to spend hours refiling it myself and working with the IRS to correct the errors that were made—all after paying H&R Block hundreds of dollars that was non refundable.
