Double check their work. Unfortunately we weren't very impressed with their work, and probably won't be recommending them to others, as their errors nearly cost us $900. My wife just moved to Canada and is a contractor for an American company, so we decided to file her taxes with hnr block to make sure we did it right. I was quite disappointed in the service, and I feel like my experience was different to others also using H&R. they didn’t seem to bother to try maximize my tax return. I had to come back a second time and question why when I tried an online tax return it was $500 higher. Turns out they didn’t put my rent in which I feel like would be a super basic thing everyone should be asked? I also wasn’t informed of the price, thankfully a friend told me a few weeks before. Left feeling ripped off had the most basic taxes and still charged me $150 with no deductions much more then I’d seen advertised

Gord and the staff are awesome. The service hasn’t changed in the 26 years we’ve been going there. They are the best at customer service and should be a great example to the other businesses.
