Absolutely awful! I booked my appointment online for February, filled out all the details as requested, and noted we have a rental property out of Province. Arrived for my appointment only to be asked "do you have any rental properties or other 'more complicated' things? When I mentioned the rental I was told I needed to wait for the more senior person - due in 15 mins. He arrived 45 mins later and then took his first appointment. I waited over 3 hours to see him! I got a refund given to me on a debit card. I tried a few machines to withdraw and get rejected because it isn't a card with a chip in it. I tried to transfer it to my account, no luck either. Called customer support to help, no luck.
Went in to do a simple 1 t4 tax return. Was told that the instant refund i wanted couldn't be done because my last year jobs weren't the same as this year. One job was but didnt work at the rest, she said your jobs have to be the same as the prior year to get instant refund now. And cra wasn't open for Netfile yet she told me. I was also told to come back on the 24th and we could do it looked on HR website says returns eligible for instant refund, had to have a return over 300 and no debt with cra ,which I don't.
