I would never file here again. I took my papers in on april 29 and was told I would be contacted to come and sign for my 2024 return. The office is only open 2 days a week during working hours so it is impossible to call and actually get through. I finally called May 16 and the person told me that the agent who was assigned my case had finished for the tax season and that my file was accidentally placed in the wrong pile after that. I've been a customer here for years and I've always felt the quality of service has gone down over the years, this year was the final straw. Every communication with employees on this site resulted in confusion, essential paperwork missed, offered and declined saying it's not necessary, then called two weeks later saying it can't be processed without said paperwork, over the phone I was told one price and when I come in to pay it's inflated an extra $40, I went home and filed with TURBOTAX where an actual tax expert helped m... read more
DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. These people are NOT "tax experts". They claimed my 80 year old father could not use a capital loss on a rental property to offset a capital gain on stocks (both sold in the same year) "because they aren't in the same category". Which of course is incorrect, and which I confirmed with a CPA (an ACTUAL expert). They have no idea what they're doing.
