We had our apt on Friday 1-31-25, had a good meeting but the Tax preparer said he didn't have a tax code to send in our State CT Taxes, we found this odd but we went with it, turns out they forgot to submit our CT Taxes the next day and after about 5 calls they finally submitted them today 2-5-25, that's not what we paid for! Also, do not bother with the tax loan since it's a scam, I have a great credit score and money in the bank and they denied me, I will never go thru this establishment again!!
My tax consultant is fantastic. She's super helpful ensuring you get all qualifying deductions and carefully breaks down the taxes so they're understandable. She also gave me some advice which reduced my federal balance quite a bit and got a refund from state which hasn't happened in ages so I'm beyond appreciative. I'll continue to get my taxes done at H&R Block as long as Bethany is my consultant!
