I went into H&R today thinking I was going to get another great counseling as last year by Carrie who was known as VIP however she told the very sweet front desk lady LINDA that she could not see me while making rude remarks while saying “that’s why you file early”. Anne Pokorny was a delight to work with and made the tax experience easy.
Update: I just spoke to one of the management team (Heather) and she has stepped in to assist in correcting the issue. We appreciate the help! In summary, there were inaccuracies in our return and a lack of communication with us and the HR Block team. I'd recommend watching carefully and verifying all of the numbers that the Tax pro enters on your behalf, but overall you'll be able to find resolution if anything goes wrong.
My taxes were misfiled by a tax professional at this office and the IRS took out $400 more than what was supposed to be submitted. When I tried following up, the office started completely dodging my concern. They have ignored online messages, they have not returned phone calls, and even no showed my phone appointment.
