They are crooks. Did anyone know they raise their fees daily? My wife and I are both retired. 1 T4 slip each, no other paperwork involved. 15min later, I owe $3500 (1st time EVER owing?). That was a kick in the gut. Then I got the H$R Block bill for those 15min. $295?? She told me it was double the cost from last year because I waited until April 21??? There is a government deadline that must be met but why do they get to raise their cost daily before said deadline? CROOKS
Just had my taxes done with Betty U. She was very nice and thorough. The environment was pleasant too. I didn't get the name of the receptionist but she was also very nice and helpful to myself and other people. Definitely going back next year!
Very unprofessional and stupid management.
0 rating!!!!! Never in all my years! I just left that location in disgust! I simply stated that there was a language barrier with myself and the accountant responsible for my file. She had a very thick South American/Central American accent and understanding her was very difficult for me. I was approached by the "District Manager" in an aggressive manner, smirking and making repeated comments insinuating I was being racist and bigoted. Was there on Monday to get taxes done and was there for an hour and my taxes hadnt gotten finished.. was told I will get a call. It is now Friday and I keep getting the run around every time I call and ask.. this is extremely frustrating as this has been my go to H&R block location for years. Very poor customer service..
