TERRIBLE experience with Marty Powers. She was completely unresponsive to calls and emails for months in advance of tax day. We assumed she was an intern since she had so many questions about basic tax documents. It was unclear whether or not we would need to file an extension. I shouldn’t have to go in to make her do her job properly.
Don't see how it takes 3 months for a refund and they don’t even reach out to see if there is any thing they can help with or offer support to help with the process
I went in to get help filing an amended tax return. I was told it would take about two weeks: it has now been three months. No one at this clinic will answer or return my calls and I have been given no information whatsoever about my return. If you are looking for the slowest possible way to do your taxes, and you would like no communication at all from your accountant, this office is perfect.
I experienced the most unprofessional treatment at this location. Beware, they/woman GB required a document that I was not privy to because it is a shared ownership where a mortgage is involved. My co-owner and I made an agreement in exchange for my taking the interest deduction where I paid cash; I am on the title. Putting me on the mortgage requires me to take out a new mortgage at a much higher rate! Marty is absolutely incredible! She was able to help us more than anyone else has been able to. I never felt rushed and she took her time explaining things to us. I will now only see Marty for our taxes. Thank you!!
