I had a very positive experience with Angus in the Westbrook office. He was polite, knowledgeable and very patient with me. He answered all of my questions and brought information to my attention. I did attend the office in person, as I dropped off my late submission. During the off season, they are only there Tuesday and Thursday. He was humble and sincere. I had also had my taxes completed there last year, as I lived in the area.Â
Took my elderly parents there to have their taxes done. Met with one of their employees who is Ranee Chan. I found she is knowledgeable and empathetic. I took her advice for the next round of filing and hope to meet with her again.Â
They don't return calls, Messages or emails. They don't submit things when they say they will, You have to go down in person over and over to get anything done. They argue over what was paid and claim we didn't pay and then all of the sudden happen to find a receipt showing we paid only after refusing to accept that we already had paid. They are a waste of time if you want anything done in time for taxes. Staff was ride and not helpful. "Send the CRA what they want" isn't an acceptable answer when Blue Collar workers require tax assistance. AVOID THIS LOCATION.Â
I am very disappointed with the service of this center. I booked an appointment for basic tax filing for year 2023. It was a very basic filing but the consultant kept on taking advices from her peer for around 30 mins and took almost 1 hour to file my returns. When I went to pay the bill. They charged me 167 cads mentioning they gave me multiple doscounts, which is way more than what other CA’s were asking promising better returns.
