They submitted my federal and state returns electronically without my review or signature. These people are totally incompetent.
I provided my tax information and contact info to the office manager who said she would review it and contact me. I went in again a week later and she had not even looked at it. She again promised to contact me within a few days. That was a month ago and I have not received a call or email.
Update Feb. 2025 This year hr block’s phones don’t work. You’ll get through to them, talk for about ten seconds, and they’ll hang up on you. Tax preparer Bill Carter does not return calls. Highly frustrating experience. And watch out for a tax preparer named Joleen. She was charged with embezzling from her church a few years ago.
