Thank you to the lovely people at H&R Block for having absolutely no clue what they are doing!! If you need any help after you file your taxes, don’t think about calling them because they will have no idea how to help you. The guy who did my taxes, I believe Jamie, added an extra number to my routing number, so that has been a whole mess. I understand you sign an agreement saying it’s not their fault if your information is wrong, but it’s not like he misheard a number, he just completely added an extra number on the end. Needed a prior year tax form verified and faxed securely from the office. Fast, friendly, expert advice and service!
Their going rate of $164 is RIDICULOUS, for less than 30 minutes of work. I have been going to them for many years, but no more! Used to be it didn't matter who they had doing your taxes, the person was very methodical and broke things down, and explained things, to ensure there wasn't any errors. Now, it's just hurry up and sign/auto pen, and snatch your money. I'll start doing my own taxes again before I go back to them. Good riddance!
