I went to H&R Block to have my 2024 taxes completed. I was quoted three prices with a high of $184.99 over the phone, but was charged $299.24 in the end. The tax preparer was new, polite; but took over three hours to complete while I waited. I followed up with the manager, who returned my call the same day. She explained that the higher fee was due to three “premium” forms (Disability Tax Credit, T5008 and T3).
