Terrible experience with the H&R Block Remote Tax Expert (online services). Without explanation, my tax expert has dropped all communication. I uploaded all of my documents and received a message from her on Feb 24/25 that she was working on my file. I sent her a message on March 3 regarding progress, she did not reply. Très mauvaise expérience avec le service en ligne H&R Blocs. Sans explication mon dossier après une semaine d'attente a été transféré à une autre personne. Après une autre semaine d'attente, j'apprends que personne n'a regardé mon dossier et qu'ils ne peuvent plus garantir le respect de la date d'échéance. J'ai ouvert mon dossier le 25 mars 2025 et je dois maintenant trouvé un autre service. Vraiment désolant et stressant. Je ne recommande à personne.

This is the second year that our taxes were prepared by H & R Block on 17th Avenue in Calgary. Last year was fine, but this year has been trying. The tax expert seemed dismissive of the information we were trying to provide. When the Notice of Assessment came, the amount owing was less than was calculated by the tax expert. We had paid the higher amount and now we contacted your office to find out how to get the excess funds from Canada Revenue since they do not automatically refund the money but keep it in your account.
