After having done my own taxes online for many years, I just didn't see that this location was able to add value at the increased price point over doing it with the online software. I really hate to say that because I prefer working with people if I can. There were other issues as well that were eventually resolved but generally made the overall experience stressful. I don't plan to use this service again.
So i had a great person file my taxes, after charging me close to 500.00 to just file for one year. It was my understanding that they would take that money out of my federal income tax which is already taken 2 weeks. I still have not received. I get a text message today that they take my state to pay for my taxes being filed so now I have no state money. Been doing taxes here for years. Great service.
Pretty disappointing service when you need help - the IRS deducted my taxes due twice due to no fault on my end and now I'm left hanging by H&R even though I paid for support with any IRS issues. So 2 things: H&R's transparency of payments to the IRS is far less than Turbotax, where I never had any issues and secondly, no support when you need it.
