Not the experience I was expecting. I choose to do my taxes here for the first time after always doing them myself on TurboTax. Cathy was very slow, was late to the appointment because she was smoking outside and I felt like I was doing it for her (I was reminding her on different expenses to add without her asking me). She also made me feel unknowledgeable and small by doubting the number I was saying of additional income to add. I’ve been a customer of H&R Block for a long time, but unfortunately, this has come to a sudden holt after I did my taxes through H&R Block Fernie this year I got a good return $$$ but just to get reassessed and now I owe more then 4k. I called them and they told me sorry it’s my problem. They made a $10 000 typo on my T4 Will never go back there again. if you do decide to change it, take the insurance… hopefully they help you after they screw you stuff up.
