Receptionist is very passive aggressive. She booked me in for 11am and I drove an hour to get there. When I got there, there was no record of me booking my appointment. She took walk ins who got there just before me and I wasn't seen until an hour and fifteen minutes after my scheduled appointment. The waiting room is very cold and I had to listen to her passive aggressive comments to customers calling in or coming to desk. Terrible experience.
I normally don't like to post negative reviews but this time I am making an exception. The experience I had at H&R Block this year was truly the worst of my life. After being charged approximately $300 dollars for my wife and I to file our taxes, they ended up filing my taxes as an instant refund, despite me telling them multiple times that I did not want an instant refund. The only reason I found they had made this mistake was a letter from the CRA informing me that H&R had already paid me according to their records. Um wha... read more

Taxes get done, sure. But it costs an unreal amount to have a very simple return filed. Not to mention the staff are very short with any questions you have.
After waiting an hours over the time of my appointements I was still waiting in there cold room. Worst than an app with a Doctor. Edit1 : after almost 2h there they did nothing nor they answered questions for and the price at beginning 50$ prices after waiting for them 75$ ish and that is because of my military discount 🙄 because it would have been more.
