Debbie Crouse was amazing! She helped me understand my taxes step by step and made sure everything was done properly. She was very friendly, approachable, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Really appreciate her help definitely recommend!
Receptionist is very passive aggressive. She booked me in for 11am and I drove an hour to get there. When I got there, there was no record of me booking my appointment. She took walk ins who got there just before me and I wasn't seen until an hour and fifteen minutes after my scheduled appointment. The waiting room is very cold and I had to listen to her passive aggressive comments to customers calling in or coming to desk. Terrible experience.
I normally don't like to post negative reviews but this time I am making an exception. The experience I had at H&R Block this year was truly the worst of my life. After being charged approximately $300 dollars for my wife and I to file our taxes, they ended up filing my taxes as an instant refund, despite me telling them multiple times that I did not want an instant refund. The only reason I found they had made this mistake was a letter from the CRA informing me that H&R had already paid me according to their records. Um wha... read more
