The experience itself was fine. But, the pricing was deceptive. They tell you one price online ($99 plus state fees) and then I left paying over $400. Wasn’t told the price until all was completed. Definitely would have gone elsewhere had I known. After reading other reviews I’m not even confident that the information was filed correctly.
Black Mountain H&R Block tax pro Yolanda Smith gave me the wrong information, according to all the other accountants I've asked. She insisted that I could file April 19 or 20 without penalty even though she knew I owed money and even though we did not file for an extension. Several days in advance, I made an appt with Yolanda on April 12, hoping to file that day, but she said she was tired from working for 12 hours straight and would do them in the morning.
