Horrible customer service. My wife and I were weary to begin with. We entered behind another lady who also had an appointment. The three of us sat for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging our presence. A man let a woman know that there were customers up front and she was clearly displeased. After sighing loudly she checked both parties in and let us know John would be right with us. I had a very pleasant experience with John helping with my parents taxes. Very easy experience that put me and my mother at ease. I absolutely recommend this business if you need to have someone do your taxes. 10/10 experience.
If I could give this establishment a 0 I would. They filed my taxes wrong, then failed to fix the issue and I’ve been waiting for a call back from corporate for 2.5 months. Don’t waste your time. File with literally ANYONE else. You could probably do a better job on your own. Save yourself the frustration.
I will never use H&R Block again. I had a single question about how to file (HOH or Single). My tax expert's response when I questioned the status she used was to file it and see if the IRS flags your account. If they do, you can try and explain your situation. I ended up going with the the other option to avoid any flags on my return, but her final response on the matter was it's up to you.
