Had an appointment for 3pm, doors locked, nobody showed. Will never use HR block again!
Preety much any extra things you might have Roth Iras iras hsa whatever they'll charge you alot more. I schedule an appointment and never actually talked to the person doing my taxes dropped it off and it was ready. Was quoted 120 to 160 ended up paying 300 and never actually talked to the person doing my taxes. We went to war over 3%. I did call the number just kept going to customer service explained the issue told them why I called and they didn't understand. I hope they go out of business for false advertising. The ladies here are very nice but the business model of H&R Block is a total scam. I’ve always done my tax return myself but this year I wanted to check if by some magic getting a “tax professional” to file would increase my return, and it did not. I got the exact same amount filing them myself as H&R Block tax pro, except H&R Block charges $400 tax prep fee and they don’t brief you on what the filing fee could bedoesn’t tell you until the last minute.I could’ve filed myself for a total of $30.
