My worst experience in H&R block in 2025. Today 02/02/2026 my wife and I was planning to finish our taxes today. I got only 2 days off and i was hoping to finish my tax today and other appointment finish tomorrow. I call other h&r they schedule us for tomorrow at 10am so I called this h&r and they have 7pm appointment tonight, I was so glad because we have other things to do tomorrow. According to the Federal Trade Commission, H&R Block has unfairly required consumers seeking to downgrade to a cheaper H&R Block product to contact customer service, unfairly deleted users’ previously entered data and made deceptive claims about “free” tax filing. Don’t do business with companies that engage in these kind of deceptive practices. H&R Block settled with the FTC for $7 million dollars.
