Very disorganized Horrible experience
If your taxes are simple enough that H&R can handle them, you can probably do them yourself for free (with the help of free online services or community tax clinics). If they are complex, expect nothing but incompatency and having to babysit them through the process and point out every exemption; hire a real accountant. The receptionist at this location, the main point of contact for several offices outside tax season, can barely speak English, and I suspect her French is not so good either. Filed my taxes with them last year(drop-off)near the end of April and my taxes were done in 3 days.. This year I took my taxes in and dropped them off March 9th told I would receive a call when they were ready to be picked up. Didn’t hear anything for 2 weeks, I called couple times and got hung up on. ***** HORRIBLE RACIST AGENT!!!!********* I was assigned to an agent named Irene and set up the appointment with the receptionist to meet this tax agent last Friday. She cancelled because she had an emergency with bell Canada. I took time off of work to attend the appointment so I wasn’t pleased with this as she cancelled only 45 minutes prior.
