Unfortunately h&r block has been a big disappointment rhis year. The fee was twice as high as Jackson Hewitt and the service was terrible. My rep asked me if I was readybto file when she knew I needed a 401k tax form that could have triggered an audit. I've left repeated messages for call backs, but no response. I never recieved any emails confirming my taxes were filed. Not going back to them ever again.
I can't recommend. Dropped off taxes weeks ago. I realize they are busy but returning and email or a phone I guess is too much. Ended up taking my taxes back. I can't hope they get done ,no more trust in this place
As of last year I went to h&r for my taxes for over 10 years. last year for my 2022 taxes was the first year I did not get a refund. I am not blaming them for not getting a refund but the attitude and response is what I have an issue with. I paid in over $15,000 total taxes and I had to pay in an additional $2,000 to the state and the irs. So naturally I asked why I have to pay in. She told me and I quote "A single guy like you making that kind of money what do you expect". I work 12 hour swing shifts at the mill in rhinelan... read more
