Totally messed up my taxes, they told me I owed the state money when I didn't. Then they amended them, and now I have to wait up to a year to get my money back. They won't return my phone calls, I will never go to H&R Block ever again, I would suggest you do the same. Terrible place to have your taxes done.
I recently gave H&R block a 5 star review and wow was I fooled. However I am changing that review to 0 stars but I can only choose 1 star so that will have to do. My 2021 taxes were not submitted correctly and now 4 years later the state says I owe 1,626.61. Customer service has been horrible and now my credit is at stake if I do not pay this balance on time. 4 years later now this affects me. They put milage in for income, nope don't trust you ever again.
I'm glad to see there is a new tax professional in this office this year. She's very knowledgeable and much more friendly.
Unfortunately h&r block has been a big disappointment rhis year. The fee was twice as high as Jackson Hewitt and the service was terrible. My rep asked me if I was readybto file when she knew I needed a 401k tax form that could have triggered an audit. I've left repeated messages for call backs, but no response. I never recieved any emails confirming my taxes were filed. Not going back to them ever again.
