I’ve been using H&R Block for 25 years and have always had positive experiences— that is until this year. My husband and I normally see the same tax preparer, but due to timing, we saw Barb instead. From the start, Barb was rude and condescending. She questioned why we couldn’t do our taxes ourselves and made comments about my lack of income, even implying I shouldn’t need any benefits because of my husband’s earnings. For many years I did my own tax forms. When fully retired a few years ago, I decided to let somebody else do it. H&R Block office nearby, so I went there. Pleasant, fast, efficient. Happy with their work.
Having people like Kelly around to help navigate tax season is an absolute God send. She ensured we found any credits we were eligible for and was an extremely personable person. Thank you Kelly!!
Between being told the next day to waiting all week for an instant refund that apparently I was not eligible for because somehow I didn't have any tax refund back for the current year. Looking at them they are done horribly incorrect. 10/10 do not recommend. No one knows what they are doing. Edit: on top of it I only let them file because they said they weren't going to charge me because of the trouble and miscommunication only to find out they slipped in and rushed me to sign a receipt for 500$ and now it's a pay with refun... read more
Awful service by employees that clearly get satisfaction out of upsetting their clients. Go see Rashiq at Liberty Tax at Vine and Scott. He is a professional and customer service was top notch.
