This place won't even let you change the way you get your taxes done as the cra told me to contact them because the e-transfer is set up with their banking so cra cannot change it this month as it went to hr blocks banking system and cra cannot mess with their banking so cra told me to contact them for this month to see if I can get a cheque this month instead as I cannot for some reason accept the e-transfer, and the lady who answered the phone didn't sound nice and willing to help anyways........ won't be going to hr block... read more
Yesterday was my first time visiting the Ontario Street, Welland location to get my taxes completed. Everyone was super friendly (which was surprising for such a busy time of year)! JOSEPH GUARINO was my tax expert, who I also met for the very first time. JOSEPH was absolutely incredible! It was a breath of fresh air to have such a positive, helpful and upbeat tax expert helping me. He went above and beyond for me and it did not go unnoticed. This is my second year doing my family's taxes with Sandra Ortiz of H&R Block in Welland. She takes the time to explain our taxes to us; she's very kind. And the best part is that she speaks Spanish, and for Spanish speakers, it's very important to be able to understand the tax system and have it explained in Spanish. We'll continue doing our taxes with Sandra next year. Thank you.
