I had a very frustrating experience with H&R Block and won’t be using them again. I filed my taxes with them last year for a much lower price, so I expected the same this year. I made an appointment, but then I got a call saying I didn’t need one and could just drop off my papers. When I arrived, they told me I actually did need an appointment, which was confusing. Je viens de perdre deux heures à essayer de faire mes impôts. La dame était peut-être gentille, mais ne parlait pas français et ne savait pas de quoi je parlais quand il s’agissait d’allocations familiales. Elle allait envoyer le tout sans même mentionner le fait que j’avais un enfant à charge. Elle avait beaucoup de misère; je suis vraiment surprise qu’elle ne connaisse pas les lois et procédures.
Can’t respect the time of your appointment without giving any explanation, I waited in the lobby for over an hour without ever seeing somebody for why it’s taking so long or when I will be seen.
Waste of time booked a time frame to do my taxes at 12 today(Noon). And the lady who was supposed to do them decided not to show up and waste two hours of my time. Even went to another hr block the other day that i booked via the website and the location decided to close at my arrival time. By far the worst experience ever. Last year might definitely be my last year doing it with them. My advice as a long time client if anyones thinking of doing ur taxes with them is to just don’t.
