We had a terrible experience with H&R Block. The only star goes to the front desk receptionist, who was friendly and helpful, but the tax preparer was awful. He didn’t explain anything, didn’t ask any questions and barely even looked at us. He just stared at the computer. The whole “get the maximum refund guaranteed” motto means nothing. I always go to the mall to do my taxes. Very sorry to hear about the associate they lost. She was my favorie there. Got a new guy doing them this year, and he was good, but there was no "small talk" or anything. If felt like he wasn't a "people person", which is fine, cause he was very professional and great at what he did.
