They made a mistake on my state return. When confronted they double down and denied it. I spoke with 4 separate people in this office and received no resolution. I called the state department of revenue and received confirmation from 3 people that the mistake was made including a supervisor in the income tax department. I made an effort to contact H&R block corporate 3 times and managed to talk to an actual person once who then hung up on me. We spent nearly $450 when. Would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. The woman that prepped our taxes filed numerous parts of our taxes incorrectly, resulting in it showing we owed a large amount of money back to the state that we did not owe (per the IL Dept of Revenue). We were told by H&R Block that even though one of us works in IL and the other in IN, we can’t get a tax credit for having one income getting both IL and IN taxes pulled. Elcinda is always on top of her game. We were treated nice by all the people we interacted with. We didn't have to wait and got done in a timely manner. We will keep going back.
