Today well getting my taxes done I was greeted in an extremely rude manner and that alone should’ve been my que to leave. However, against better judgement I stayed. It took over two hours to get my taxes done, the computer crashed, the lady argued with me about what I can and can’t write off on my taxes and surprise surprise I was right. Very little knowledge. The personnel called Debi (or Deby) was rude. If you come across to her, get ready to be scolded. Even in front of your wife. As I was. Naturally I left there straight away with my wife and child. The year before, we had our tax file in H&R Block in Calgary and stuff there was so nice and helpful. So, every H&R Block is not at same service quality obviously. On the other hand, I thank Debi. Since then, We have been doing our taxes by ourselves, nearly free of charge.
Mukul was so informative, went out of his way to clarify in the process,gave me excellent strategies for next yr, and reduced taxes substantially for my situtation.I would highly recommend him and h&r block.
Me and the Wife are not longer customers of this H&R block. Communication and services are sloppy and gone down hill rapidly. We have found a better place to do our services.
