Spent 9 minutes on hold to book an appointment for my personal taxes, they had 0 availability, why not just say that from the start rather then wasting someone's time? Completely unprofessional in my opinion.
Convenient location with accommodating and pleasant staff. Tax Pros knowledgeable and thorough which occasionally lengthens appointment expectations. Always recommend calling to make an appointment, being sure to specify how many clients, returns, and tax years need to be completed.
I had a very simple tax return, nothing to it, maybe 10 -15 min of filing if that. When it came to paying, I was shocked to discover that the charge was much higher than last year. However there was a catch. If I would agree to accept an instant tax refund via H&R credit card the charge for filing the income tax return would be much less. I find this practice to be rather disgusting. I don't need your credit card, I don't want your credit card and monthly charges which comes with it plus other fees. Repulsive hustle. I went to h&r block for years and the previous year I went in with my paperwork and the guy who helped me stated he didnt want my paperwork, it was all on the computer. I trusted him and now they revised my taxs and I owe the government. I've contacted the manager who said she will look into it and get back to me. Shes never called me back. I got into contact with somebody at the branch who also said they'll try to figure something out and call me back. Haven't heard a peep.
