Requested and verified multiple times that i would get a specific tax preparer and was assured I would. Day of appointment, that tax preparer is no where to be found and I am completely unable to communicate with the tax preparer they gave me so all my questions went unanswered. After doing my taxes with h&R for over a decade, I will not return.
I love this block
One of the front clerks (Olanike) tends to misunderstand requests, and when corrected or given explanation - she likes to then waste time preaching about respect rather than her job. She needs to be less insecure and more practical. If this place wasn't close, I'd recommend anyplace else. Slow service, even with an appointment you will be waiting far too long.
Terrible experience at H&R Block – unprepared preparer wasted my time I had an appointment booked for 4:00 PM (16:00). I arrived on time, but wasn’t taken in until around 5:17–5:20 PM — over an hour delay with no apology or proper explanation. As much as I want to give the guy who did my Taxes 5 stars, I have to give HR block less than 1. I felt so thrown off by the way I was treated that I had to call their corporate line IN their office. I walked in early in the morning (around 10:40), asked if they had time and they said yes. I waited almost 2 HOURS and was told the person with the 12PM appointment would be seen first. I lost it.
