Went to do my taxes. The receptionist and Tax auditor were very rude and discouraging. I would not take your T4's or information to this location as they are not fair and will make you pay ridiculous amounts for your taxes. They were demanding in a very strong tone for me to pay which was not what I was told over the phone. Don't take your taxes to this location
This place is terrible. Do not get your taxes done here!! I repeat. DO NOT GET YOUR TAXES DONE HERE!! The incompetence is gross and entirely unacceptable. We were originally told that one simple tax return would be approx $256. When we questioned that, we were told that she was "looking at someone else's file"?? After returning home I noticed that I received emails from CRA regarding address change. They put the WRONG ADDRESS on BOTH my husband's and my tax returns. Let's be clear the women who actually filed my taxes was amazing very nice and explained everything to me, however the women who was at reception was not professional or welcoming, she looked very disorganized. When I was ready to pay she kept taking other people's calls and filling out there whole application over the phone while I stood there wouldn't you think that she would put them on hold so I could just pay? As much as I want to give the guy who did my Taxes 5 stars, I have to give HR block less than 1. I felt so thrown off by the way I was treated that I had to call their corporate line IN their office. I walked in early in the morning (around 10:40), asked if they had time and they said yes. I waited almost 2 HOURS and was told the person with the 12PM appointment would be seen first. I lost it.
