I had an unpleasant experience here, and when I reported it to customer service, the franchise owner called me up and I kid you not, screamed at me over the phone. People like that are the reason Houlton is failing. Turbotax has had my business ever since.
I filled my taxes with the Millinocket office. Just a fyi H & R Block in Houlton, Presque Isle and Millinocket is a franchise currently owned by Daniel J Amero. The tax pro missed a number on my bank account for my refund to be directly deposited. I had to call the state and an still working on getting my tax refund due to the tax pro missing information that I put in her hand to copy down. Way too expensive. I had a very simple tax return that didn’t even include state, and the bill was close to $200. Totally taking advantage of people who put their trust in them.
