I moved a long time ago, but kept having my taxes done in Alberta because they were so good at it especially Roslyn. Simply for convenience sake, we started this year to get our taxes done where we reside now in Ontario and we’re in the process of moving again so all of my documents were packed. I needed some information to complete my 2025 return in Rosalyn provided it as quickly as I asked so to the HR Block people give this person a raise.
I am not the type to leave reviews online, but I am deeply dissatisfied with the service I received here dealing with a foreign tax situation after working in another country. While it seems some agents are indeed knowledgeable in these matters, my case was mismanaged from the start, the process was costly, and I have been stuck waiting for over a year for the CRA to process a re-adjustment with a sizeable return seemingly lost in limbo due to the order in which H&R Block chose to file my taxes. I rarely leave reviews but my gosh you have some of the rudest staff my friend and I have ever had to deal with. As foreign workers submitting our first return in your country we were asking simple questions about the process - we were told “it’s not difficult, go google it”. That’s what I’m paying you for?? No smiles, no hello when entering. When the issue of bad attitude toward customers was raised, the staff laughed at us. Perhaps a customer service workshop is needed for the Canmore office!
The worst service I’ve had in a very long time. Attitude is condescending and all round unpleasant. Left feeling very belittled.
Absolutely the worst time I’ve had today. Zero help or having my taxes done completely. I will be making sure I challenge my taxes this year. Serious lack of customer support
