While I appreciate the convenience and efficiency H&R's services offer, I was taken aback by the unexpectedly high cost associated with the preparation of my relatively easy straightforward tax return. It would have been immensely helpful to have a clearer understanding of the pricing structure upfront. It feels as though the pricing may be somewhat arbitrary and dependent on the amount of return one expects.
