Do not get your taxes done here, the poor lady that helped was super nice but had no clue what she was doing. She told me I owed over 3k to the state, I said there’s no way that’s possible but she kept assuring me that it is. So I left and told her I’d reach out if I needed help. I went through my girlfriend’s tax guy and turns out I didn’t owe any money at all. This place they call a business is atrocious and the incompetence is insane.
This is my second year doing my taxes with H&R Block. I’m very happy with the results. I was helped by Starr and she is phenomenal I totally trust her. She is a true expert and professional.
Trash can company. If I could put zero stars, I would. My CPA unfortunately passed after i gave him my tax documents but before he completely finished filing my tax returns. I had the completed returns he just didn't send everything in so the IRS didn't receive it. I went here in an emergency situation and like i said with my tax documents already completed by a licensed full time CPA whom had been charging me 125.00 a yr to file my taxes electronically for years. Very expensive and disorganized. We showed up to an appointment and we're told that their system was doing something confusing and that the one number wasn't making sense. We were told to go home and she would follow up with an answer later. Time came and went and we never heard anything so we filed elsewhere. After the tax deadline someone else took over our return and had no idea what the holdup was and didn't seem to care about the frustrations of being forgotten about.
