She carefully listened to my concerns about the incident from yesterday and acknowledged that there was a clear lack of professionalism and negligence from the staff member involved. Rula was great! She helped me do my taxes, she was very quick, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! Will definetly be back next year.
The overall experience was acceptable and, probably, I shall return next year.
I was just speaking with my 80 year old mother who just had her taxes done here. Her portfolio is quite simple. A few investments and the usual pension amounts. She was not quoted a fee upfront and charged her $250 to file her taxes. She was there for just under 1 hour. This is an absolute crime. Taking advantage and of an elderly lady. The fact that this H&R is situated in a mall that caters to the retirement community makes it seem predatory. Beware. I had a great experience doing my taxes at this location, the young front desk gal was very polite and accommodating and Ana was very helpful, thorough and patient with me and getting my taxes in.
