The issue was not with doing the taxes. The issue was with everything after. 1. Our tax accountant got my husband's name wrong after we verified it in person, and H&R block had to file an amended return to fix this. 2. The amended return was only supposed to be a change in my husbands name, but instead of being a name only change, we were double charged by the IRS (a lot of money) for the SAME RETURN. 3. DO NOT USE HR BLOCK. My taxes were filed by a staff member unauthorized and without my permission. This has led to hours of me attempting to fix the situation and I still have not received my refund. Christian the manager has been unresponsive and has not returned any calls or emails. It is a large company that clearly does not care about their customers.
