Paid $420 dollars just to be informed I owe the IRS money. And the agent handling my taxes couldn't claim my gas receipts for military travel but they were able to claim my miles driven for a side hustle. Do NOT give your money to these large tax refund corporations. Go support a local mom and pop account's office. NEVER AGAIN
I thought I was going to save some money instead of a professional CPA. WRONG! They cost as much as a private CPA, charging by the forms. And the kick in the a#%, 2 years later I get a notice from the IRS that my 2019 taxes were filed incorrectly and missing a huge amount of information impacting the taxes paid. KATHLEEN REKUCKI didn't check a box for the 529 college funds (even though we discussed in detail) and now I'm being audited. Go back to the Maywood office, it's closed.
