They failed to get my electronically filed taxes to both the IRS and CA tax board. I also realized they filed my taxes incorrectly and after calling, they were supposed to correct the issue. The branch that failed me stated they would correct the problem but after a month they ghosted me. For $500-600 an hour, I expected professionals but I would have done better job myself. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Lanila Rivera at this H&R Block location. She was unprofessional, rude, and consistently spoke in a condescending tone. Any time I asked for clarification or expressed a different perspective, she responded in a dismissive and argumentative manner. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with a tax advisor. Adine was very personable and kind, and helped me resubmit a tax form from the previous year. Had some good conversation outside of doing the tax-related things.
