I'm not sure if all of these reviews are real, but this office in Middletown is horrible, and everyone I know that had their taxes done here, had a bad experience as well. They made a mistake on my taxes a couple of years back and refused to correct it, costing me over $1000. The amount of money is not the issue, its the refusal to make the needed corrections (after they got my money) that's a big problem. Not a good way to run a business. Very good work
They were unable to do my taxes the same day of my appointment, which is odd because my taxes aren’t complicated. I itemize, I do not take the standard deduction but still that’s not complicated. I was then given an appointment at a later date only to be cancelled by them at the last minute, about a few hours from the appointment itself. In the past few years mistakes were made and caught by the state which caused me to pay penalties. This year I decided to go do my taxes at Liberty. Our Tax Preparer was fantastic. Gave us great advice, helped us make decisions and found the maximum refund we could get. She was helpful and explained everything we were doing. She gave us a sense of confidence that we were doing the right thing. Thanks Tara. UPDATE - This claim was done wrong and I have been dealing with the issue for over 4 years with no resolution.
