HR tax preparer Block is too pricey, shop around. $514.00 for preparing my taxes. I owe the feds and the state. I did well on my investments and they wanted a piece. I called a CPA that I have delt with in the past, and the cost would have been half of what I spent. Lesson learned. Take last year's taxes, then ask. How much to do this?
