I filed my taxes with H&R on 4-26-25 and on 5-30 I received a letter from the IRS stating that a certain form was not filed that should have been. I emailed H&R letting them know of their error, the IRS specifically stated they wanted a cover letter and the form they requested. When I contacted H&R they were never able to provide the cover letter that they told me was sent, only a copy of the IRS letter which is not what they asked for, causing a further delay, and I did not receive my tax return until 8-5-25.
