H&R Block did not file our taxes last year, despite me providing receipt showing our payment and using Catherine Fife's services in 2023. Although this seems to have been resolved, and she offered to credit back last year's fees due to the confusion (which I expressed gratitude and appreciation to her, and I hope she follows through on), this seemed to set the tone for the atmosphere of the appointment this year as well. I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars! Please beware & do not make the mistake I did of filing with them!!! This is what happened to me this year: On April 13th my husband and I filed our taxes with tax expert Evelyn Smith at our local H&R Block office located at 1250 E CENTRAL AVE,MIAMISBURG, OH 45342. We signed all documents & were told that the amount we would be getting back after paying our filing fees would be $4.471 for federal and $165 for state.
