I paid 200 dollars for the service as my wife and I have complicated taxes. While doing the service we paid over three thousand dollars in taxes. After getting that we received a bill in the mail from the state that we owed over 100 dollars. Given what we paid H&R block earlier we called to see if they would look at it and tell us why since we paid everything they said we owed. An incredibly poor experience from start to finish. Our preparer was not up to the task, and called us for days with questions, repeatedly delaying the return, and repeatedly ranged our return in the matter of THOUSANDS of dollars. We called and asked for a switch to another associate, which the manager agreed with, however, the first associate continued to call us daily, despite the return having been re-assigned. Original price jumped from 175 to 245. Requested my taxes be reviewed by a supervisor and requested a call back. None of this was done. I will never use H&R Block again. I had been using them for almost 20 years. Never again.
